Peterborough Presents in association with Red 7 Productions have produced a short film about some of the villages history. It features footage from the 2024 lantern parade, interviews with local historians, Eye residents and archival footage from the 1990’s which was filmed by Bert Deane.

Keely Mills, Community Producer for Peterborough Present said “Hopefully, some of you will recognise some of the photos, film and people in this small film about the ‘ Digging Down Building Up’ project which led to the 2024 lantern parade in Eye. It also celebrated and honored Eye’s working class industry.”
